VODA Co., Ltd. was honored with the Prime Minister’s Commendation at the 2025 SME Technology and Management Innovation Expo.

This award recognizes VODA’s data-driven technological capabilities, which have been highly regarded for driving innovation across industrial and manufacturing sites.

Hosted annually by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, the SME Technology and Management Innovation Expo is Korea’s leading innovation event. It acknowledges individuals and companies who have contributed to the national economy through technological and managerial innovation, while showcasing the achievements of SMEs to the broader public.

On September 4, VODA CEO Woo-Young Choi attended the opening ceremony and awards presentation, where he received the Prime Minister’s Commendation. At the ceremony, VODA was praised for its proprietary technologies and on-site problem-solving approach, which have made a significant contribution to innovation in Korea’s manufacturing industry.

VODA’s core technology lies in its industrial solutions that integrate video and data.

Going beyond traditional video monitoring, the system collects and analyzes on-site data in real time, automatically detecting subtle defects and inefficiencies in manufacturing processes.

This capability makes a tangible contribution to improving productivity and quality, serving as a key driver in the advancement of smart factories.

In particular, the company’s enhanced AI-based video analysis engine enables real-time detection of process anomalies that are difficult for the human eye to perceive, thereby improving both efficiency and safety in industrial environments.

In practice, this technology has already delivered results across various industries, leading to increased operational uptime and improved yield rates.
